SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR The Downtown Kiwanis Club met Nov. 15 and learned about the No Stone Unturned Foundation, established by the speaker and her husband. Dr. Melinda Wolford and Eric Wolford, Youngstown State University football coach, started the foundation after their son, Stone, was diagnosed at age 2 with cardio-facio-cutaneous syndrome, a rare genetic disorder. The foundation provides support for patients and families touched by CFC and other debilitating illnesses, raises awareness by providing information, and promotes aggressive research on ways to enhance their lives. For information visit www.nostonefoundation.org. Above from left are Gary Winslow, Kiwanis Club immediate past president; Dr. Wolford; and Chuck Whitman, the club’s program sponsor.
