St. Columba Cathedral was the setting of the June 14 wedding of Alissa Dreier of Poland and Michael Padovano of Pittsburgh. Monsignor Peter Polando officiated at the 4 p.m. ceremony, which was followed by a reception at the Georgetown in Boardman.

Gerald and Elizabeth Dreier of Poland are her parents, and Anthony and Karen Padovano of New Castle are the parents of the groom.

After a cruise to the Caribbean, the couple reside in Pittsburgh.

The bride received a bachelor’s degree in education from Youngstown State University and is a teacher at Imagine Penn Hills, Pittsburgh.

Her husband received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from YSU and is a lease analyst for American Eagle Outfitters in Pittsburgh.

The bride wore an ivory taffeta gown with ruching at the top and pickups on the bottom. It was embellished with flowers and a beaded belt.

Andrea Dreier and Jane Dreier, sisters of the bride, were honor attendants. Bridesmaids were Amy Doran, the groom’s sister; Amanda Cox; and Elizabeth Maher. Caterina Caruso was the flower girl.

The honor attendants wore eggplant-colored gowns, and the bridesmaids wore Victorian lilac-colored gowns.

Christopher Fortney was the best man. Groomsmen were Michael Doran, brother-in-law of the groom; William Skinner; Dustin Hurtle; and Brian Bair.
