Lighthouse Baptist marks 25th year

Lighthouse Baptist Church, 1021 Stateline Road, will celebrate its 25th anniversary with services at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Sept. 8.

Special guests will include former pastors, Gregg Simpson, founder of the church who was pastor from July 1988 to 1998, and Pastor Tom Brennan, pastor from 1998 to January, 2004. In 2005, Brian Lott became pastor.

Music will be performed by the Foster Family, Niki Lott song writer/musician, Beth Gregory and others.

Local state leaders will present citations, and there will be testimonies from the membership.

Between services, there will be a luncheon. No reservations are required.

Ministries of the church include the annual vacation Bible school, children’s church and choir, music ministry, ladies ministry, nursery, nursing home ministry, Sunday School and Worldwide Missions and Outreach.
