Police seek hit-skip driver who drove through Feb. 8 vigil

YOUNGSTOWN

A woman who drove through a February vigil for a hit skip victim was indicted on felony failure to stop after an accident and misdemeanor obstructing charges Thursday.

Officers today are looking for Rochelle B. Taylor, 20, who they say was driving a car that injured five people Feb. 8 who were at the vigil.

Police found her right away but had trouble building a case because Taylor has no fixed address and they also had to solve he hit skip on the same street from a week before, where a person died, to make sure the cases were not related.

The cases are not connected, police said.
