ASSOCIATIONS

Mill Creek Chapter of the American Business Women’s Association will meet at 6 p.m. Sept. 10 at A La Cart Catering, Lisbon Street, Canfield. Austintown trustee Jim Davis will talk about construction of Penn National Gaming’s racino. The menu is stuffed chicken breast, baked ham, au gratin potatoes, California blend vegetables, tossed salad, Hawaiian pineapple crunch, rolls and coffee or tea. Mahoning Valley Stamp Club will meet at 7 p.m. Sept. 19 at Highway Tabernacle, 3000 S. Raccoon Road, Austintown. The club meets the second Thursday of each month.

Metaphysical Enlightenment Group of Trumbull County will meet Sept. 11 at the S.C.O.P.E. Building, 220 W. Market St, Warren. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and Alex Wedmedyk will present the program, “Jammin’ with Drums,” at 7. The cost is $5 at the door. The group meets the second Wednesday of each month. It is a nonprofit social organization for spiritual expansion, personal enlightenment and metaphysical education.
