Library prepares for clothing giveaway

LEETONIA

Leetonia Community Public Library, 181 Walnut St., is sponsoring a community clothing giveaway from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 28.

Clothing for adults and children will be available free that day. Take your own bags for shopping.

Before Sept. 26, the following churches will take donations of clean, usable clothing for any season for the giveaway:

• St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 29 Spruce St., 9 a.m. to noon Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Call 330-427-6585.

• St. Patrick Church, 167 Main St., 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays or call Sister Joan Franklin, O.P., at 330-427-6577.

• Leetonia First United Methodist Church, 50 Lisbon St., from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesdays or call the Rev. Ashley McMillin at 330-853-0845.

• St. Jacobs United Church of Christ, 5219 St. Jacob-Logtown Road. Call the Rev. Jenna Brown at 330-257-2826.

• Leetonia Mennonite Church, 764 Columbia St., call the Rev. Phil Slabaugh at 330-427-6827.

• Robbins United Methodist Church, 100 High St., Washingtonville. 11 a.m. to noon Wednesdays or call the Rev. McMillin at 330-853-0845.

Do not drop off clothes at the library.
