Police found 128 pills on a man they say served a prison sentence and is a member of the LSP street gang after pulling over his motorcycle about 7:30 p.m. at Market Street and Delason Avenue on the South Side.

James K. Neail, 29, is expected to be arraigned today in Municipal Court for the charge of possession of dangerous drugs, a felony, and several traffic charges, including a driving under suspension charges. A report noted Neail has more than 20 open suspensions on his license.

Neail was pulled over for making a turn before coming to a complete stop at an intersection and acted very nervous, reports said. An officer found the pills in two separate bags in his pocket. Neail claimed the pills were prescription painkillers, reports said. He was taken to the Mahoning County jail.

Federal court records show Neail was several people indicted in 2011 for being a member of the South Side gang and was sentenced to 33 months in prison in August 2012 but given credit for time served. Police said he was just released from prison.
