Parents announce Ortz-Wells engagement

William and Beth Ortz of Boardman are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Ortz, and Christopher Wells, both of Stow, Ohio.

Parents of the future groom are Richard and Tina Wells of Steubenville.

The couple are planning to exchange vows Nov. 16 at First Covenant Church. A reception will follow at Avion on the Water in Canfield. Invitations will be extended to both.

The bride-elect earned a bachelor’s degree in French from Mount Union College and a master’s degree in French literature from Indiana University Bloomington. She works for McMaster-Carr Supply in Aurora.

The prospective groom earned a bachelor’s degree in English from Grove City College and a juris doctor degree at the University of Akron School of Law. He is an attorney in private practice in Stow.
