FOOD SALES AND DINNERS

FRIDAY

Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown, will serve fish dinners from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at the church hall. The menu will consist of baked or fried Icelandic cod or fried haddock; sides of Spanish rice, haluski, macaroni and cheese, french fries or string beans (choose two); coleslaw or applesauce; bread and butter; and coffee or tea. The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children. Dessert will be an additional $1.50. Containers will be provided for takeouts. Orders will be accepted from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at 330-792-1005.

SATURDAY

North Lima Mennonite Church, 90 Mennonite Drive, will serve an all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet from 7 to 10 a.m. for a donation. The menu will consist of eggs, pancakes, french toast, sausage, potatoes, homemade rolls, sausage gravy and biscuits, peppers and mushrooms, coffee, orange juice and other beverages. TAKING ORDERS

Mount Carmel Society of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 381 Robbins Ave., Niles, is taking orders for pizza and calzones. Red pizza will cost $6 each, and calzones are $10 each for potato, spinach or a combo of both. Order by 7 p.m. Sunday by calling the church and leaving your order as a message at 330-652-2811. Pickup will be 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 6.

UPCOMING

Southington United Methodist Church, routes 305 and 534, will sell chicken dinners from 3:30 to 6 p.m. Sept. 4. The meals include scalloped potatoes, green beans, applesauce, coleslaw and dessert. Prices are $8 for adults, $4 for a chicken tenders meal for children 4 to 10 and free for kids 3 and under. Carryouts will be available. Call the church at 330-898-2156 to have dinners ready for pickup.
