Comedy show event will benefit dogs

On Sept. 7, For the Dogs rescue group will sponsor a comedy show at the Magic Tree Pub & Eatery, 7463 South Ave. The evening will include entertainment by the comedians of Raise the Woof and DJ services of Highly Productions.

A $20 ticket includes the show and food from Magic Tree chefs. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the show will begin at 8.
