NEO public leaders seek help Center for Government Research

YOUNGSTOWN — A coalition of business, nonprofit and public leaders from Northeast Ohio has engaged The Center for Government Research to help local and county governments throughout the region achieve greater efficiencies.

Based in New York, the CGR provides strategic management consulting services to municipal, education, nonprofit and business clients.

Under an initiative known as EffcientGovNetwork, volunteers will come together to share ideas and best practices for local government collaboration to set new goals and assess the needs of Northeast Ohio.

Government in the Mahoning Valley will likely participate in the effort, according to a press release on the matter.

CGR and its partners in the project are expected to complete their work sometime next spring.
