Teens arrested for drug charges after traffic stop

LIBERTY — Township police filed a drug trafficking charge after an early-morning traffic stop Sunday.

Police stopped a car driven by Andre K. Williams, 19, of Wirt Street in Youngstown. Williams didn't use his turn signal while turning at State Route 193 at Liberty Street, police said.

Two juveniles, both from Youngstown, were also in the car. Police found 16 small plastic bags of marijuana in the car, and one juvenile, 16, was charged with trafficking.

The other juvenile, 17, was charged with marijuana possession and carrying brass knuckles.

Williams was charged with complicity to trafficking and contributing to the unruliness of the juveniles.
