Easter Seals offers hot, nutritious meals weekdays in Columbiana and Mahoning counties for people 60 or older and their spouses (regardless of age). Reservations are required three days in advance. A $2 donation is suggested per meal. Call 330-884-2513 to make reservations, for serving locations or to arrange for home-delivered meals for seniors who are homebound. Transportation is available by calling 330-884-2511. The program office is located at 299 Edwards St., Youngstown.

COLUMBIANA COUNTY

Wednesday, Aug. 28: Sloppy joe on a bun, cauliflower, potato spudsters, apple juice and milk.

Thursday, Aug. 29: Chicken with gravy, dressing, mashed potatoes, corn, grape juice, wheat bread and milk.

Friday, Aug. 30: Macaroni and cheese, stewed tomatoes, broccoli, peaches, wheat bread and milk.

Saturday, Aug. 31: Ham and turkey on a bun, unsweetened fruit, carrots with ranch dressing, fruit juice and milk.

Monday, Sept. 2: Office closed; turkey tetrazzini meal will be delivered Friday, Aug. 30.

Tuesday, Sept. 3: Sloppy joe on a bun, tater tots, corn, unsweetened pears, grape juice and milk.

MAHONING COUNTY

Wednesday, Aug. 28: Barbecue chicken strips, California blend vegetables, sweet potato, unsweetened pears, bread, juice, oatmeal cookie or angel food cake and milk.

Thursday, Aug. 29: Penne with sauce, meatballs, green beans, unsweetened pineapple, bread and milk.

Friday, Aug. 30: French toast, turkey sausage, sweet potato, orange juice, unsweetened applesauce, blueberry muffin and milk.

Saturday, Aug. 31: Turkey and cheese sandwich, tossed salad, coleslaw, unsweetened fruit, regular or sugar-free cookie and milk.

Monday, Sept. 2: Office closed; cold ham lunch will be delivered Friday, Aug. 30.

Tuesday, Sept. 3: Sloppy joe on a bun, tater tots, corn, unsweetened pears, grape juice and milk.

TRUMBULL COUNTY

The Trumbull County Office of Elderly Affairs offers well-balanced meals at 12 locations in Trumbull County for people 60 or older or whose spouse is 60 or over. Reservations must be made two working days in advance. There is no income requirement. The suggested donation is $1.50 per meal. To make a reservation or for information, call 330-675-2486.
