Mark Cole, financial services specialist, of Austintown, owner and multiple line agent of the Mark Cole Agency, American-National Insurance Co., was promoted to agency general agent and recruiting manager of Northern Ohio. Coles’s key role will be to hire and manage entrepreneurs toward agency ownership representing American-National Insurance Co. and Financial Services.

The PNC Financial Services Group Inc. has appointed Andrew Feldstein to its board of directors. He is co-founder, chief executive officer and chief investment officer of BlueMountain Capital Management LLC.

Thomas P. Miller and Associates has named Matt Falter senior project consultant. Falter will be based in Ohio and brings a strong background as a workforce and economic development professional.

Two local community leaders with years of community involvement, Karen Winner Sed and Larry Haynes, recently joined Sharon Regional Health System’s board of directors. Sed is chief executive officer of the Winner Companies, and Haynes is executive director of the Community Foundation of Western Pennsylvania and Eastern Ohio and Senior Pastor of Grace Chapel Community Church in Hermitage.

Sean Chichelli of Columbus has joined the Ohio Chamber of Commerce as director, labor and human-resources policy. Chichelli previously served as a policy adviser to House Speaker William G. Batchelder, as well as legislative aide to former state Rep. Kris Jordan and was a full-time fellow with former state Rep. Shannon Jones.
