Hassays observe 50th anniversary; celebration to take place at later date

Frank and Jessica Hassay of Liberty marked their 50th wedding anniversary Aug. 24, and a celebration will take place at a later date.

The former Jessica Pavlic married Mr. Hassay on Aug. 24, 1963, at Sts. Peter & Paul Church in Youngstown. They are members of St. Rose Church in Girard.

The have two children: Jeff (Sandy) Hassay of Cortland, and Cheryl (Robert) Kramer of Greensburg, Pa. The Hassays also have three grandchildren: Mackenzie and Jake Kramer and James Squire.

Mrs. Hassay retired in 2010 from North Side Medical Center after working as a registered nurse 47 years.

Mr. Hassay has owned Quality Auto Body Inc. in Youngstown since 1967.
