Barnhisel House will host open house

GIRARD

Barnhisel House, 1011 N. State St., will host an open house from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday.

Costumed greeters will welcome visitors and take them on a tour of two stories of the home that was razed primarily from its foundation.

This historical home is a project of the Girard Historical Society, which received an award from the Mahoning Valley Historical Society for improvements on the property.

Open houses are free with donations appreciated.
