PERFORMANCE INDEX TOTALS

The Performance Index measures the achievement of every student. The A-F grade on the report card is determined by the number of indicators met out of the total possible indicators. The letter grade is calculated by dividing the number of points earned by the school or district by the total possible number of points, 120.

THE SCORE FOR THE LETTER GRADE IS:

90 to 100 percent: A; 80 to 89.9 percent: B;

70 to 79.9 percent: C; 50 to 69.9 percent: D;

and below 50 percent: F
