The Mahoning County Coroner’s Office has identified the motorcyclist killed about 10 p.m. Monday on Interstate 680 south near the Glenwood Avenue exit as 32-year-old Zachary Zarlenga of Canfield.

Police say he was on a motorcycle that collided with the back of an SUV.

A news release from the coroner’s office said Zarlenga was traveling at a high rate of speed and was not wearing a helmet.

The 2013 Panerathon will affect the following roads from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday: Walnut Street will be closed between Front and Commerce Streets; Commerce Street will be closed between Walnut Street and Belmont Avenue; Belmont Avenue will be closed between Rayen and Front streets; Fifth Avenue will be closed between Rayen Street and the Spring Commons Bridge; Spring Commons Bridge/Mahoning Avenue will be closed to North West Avenue; North West Avenue will be closed between Mahoning and Tod avenues; Tod Avenue will be closed between North West Avenue and Price Road; Price Road will be closed between Tod Avenue and West Glacier Drive; and West Glacier Drive/Mill Creek Park will be closed between Price Road and the West Drive Bridge.

Feed the hungry

Attendees at Saturday’s Southside Johnny & The Asbury Jukes concerts at Warren’s River Rock at the Amp can help feed hungry area residents by bringing a nonperishable food item or making a monetary donation at the gate that will benefit Second Harvest Food Bank of the Mahoning Valley.

Also for their donation, they will receive a raffle ticket for a guitar autographed by Michael Stanley and a chance to win two tickets to the Michael Stanley concert Oct. 12 at W.D. Packard Music Hall.

Gates to the Warren Community Amphitheatre, 321 Mahoning Ave. N.W., Warren, open at 5 p.m. The Main Street Lions play at 5:30 p.m. and Southside Johnny & the Asbury Jukes hit the stage at 8:30 p.m.

General admission tickets for all ages are $10.
