A man who pleaded guilty to charges he was involved in a shooting incident at an Austintown nightclub in 2011 was sentenced to five years in prison this morning by Judge Maureen Sweeney of Mahoning County Court of Common Pleas.

Eddie DeJesus, 22. of Campbell, was given a two-year sentence for felonious assault plus a three-year mandatory sentence for using a firearm. He was one of three men charged with firing a shot at an Austintown police officer in April of 2011 and leading them on a chase on Interstate 80 after the officer heard a shot and saw someone running with a gun in the parking lot of Go Go Cabaret and Lounge.

The other two men have pleaded guilty and have yet to be sentenced.
