Coroner identifies motorcyclist killed on I-680

The Mahoning County Coroner’s Office has identified the motorcylcist killed about 10 p.m. Monday on Interstate 680 south near the Glenwood Avenue exit as 32-year-old Zachary Zarlenga of Canfield.

Police say he was on a motorcycle that collided with the back of an SUV.

A news release from the coroner’s office said Zarlenga was traveling at a high rate of speed and was not wearing a helmet.

Youngstown police are investigating.
