Pasta dinner will help feed needy

YOUNGSTOWN

Phoenix House, 850 N. Meridian Road, will be the location of a pasta dinner fundraiser from 4 to 7 p.m. Sept. 22.

Proceeds will go to Youngstown Inner City Garden, which provides meals for the needy. One dollar from each meal will go to the Wounded Warriors of Youngstown.

Call ahead to 330-406-6603 for carryout, starting at 1 p.m.

The cost will be $8 for the general public, $5 for elderly, disabled and wounded warriors, and children 11 and under.

There also will be a 50-50 raffle and a basket auction.

Donations of gently used gardening, lawn and construction tools and equipment will be accepted. Contact Mason Carratt at 234-855-0259 for pickups.
