Motorcycle passenger injured in accident

A motorcycle crash on state Route 87 near the Geauga-Trumbull county line resulted in a 41-year-old Howland woman being flown to Cleveland Metro Hospital for treatment.

A motorcycle ridden by Sean Crean, 41, of Niles was attempting to turn left onto Bundysburg Road when a Ford Explorer driven by Wade A. Sunnafrank, 63 of Cambridge, Ohio, ran into the rear of the Pontiac Grand Prix being driven by Barry D. Bulford, The force of the first collision pushed the Grand Prix into the motorcycle, according to a report from the Ohio State Highway Patrol in Warren. Angela Lenart, 41, of Howland, was a passenger on the motorcycle.

Sunnafrank was cited for failing to stop within an assured clear distance. Lenart was not wearing a helmet.
