SENIOR CITIZENS


55-Plus Club-Mineral Ridge will meet at noon Tuesday at Eat’n Park Restaurant in Austintown.

Girard Senior Citizens Club will meet at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Eagles Aerie at 26 W. Wilson Ave., for the annual corn roast. August birthdays and anniversaries will be acknowledged, 50-50 tickets will be sold, and an attendance prize will be awarded. Bingo and cards will be played.

Holy Family Seniors will meet at 11:30 a.m. Monday in Hope Hall at the Holy Family Center. Use the youth center entrance. Cards, bingo and a 50-50 drawing are on the agenda. Coffee, tea, sandwiches and dessert will be served. Hostesses are Jane Colella, Fran Furano and Ellen Hall. Report illnesses or deaths to Ida Miller at 330-965-8489. New members are welcome. Martha Lupse 50-Plus Card and Game Club will meet from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Room 106 at Poland United Methodist Church. Bridge, 500, chess and checkers will be played, and Marilyn Boggs will give the devotions. Members are reminded to take a sack lunch; coffee and tea will be provided. OBES Retirees will meet for lunch at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Friendly’s in Poland. All retirees are welcome.

St. Christine Seniors will meet at 1 p.m. Wednesday with Ruth Infante presiding. Theresa Vivacqua and her committee will serve as hostesses, and Dorothy Losasso and Carol McClain will give reports. There will be a drawing for a free lunch and a 50-50 raffle. Cards games and bingo will be played. New members are welcome.
