Howland safety day Saturday

HOWLAND

The Howland Fire Department will have a safety day at Kmart, 2100 Niles-Cortland Road SE, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

Safety Day will include car-seat inspections, a bike-safety rodeo, the fire-safety trailer, poison safety, fire engines and ambulances.

The following organizations will participate: Howland police; Ohio State Highway Patrol; Youngstown Air Reserve Station Fire Department; Trumbull County Help Me Grow; Trumbull County Mental Health and Recovery Board; Safe Surfin Foundation (Internet safety); Trumbull County Safe Communities; Trumbull County Red Cross; Smokey the Fire Dog; and the Stat Medevac helicopter.
