Warren Philharmonic unveils season lineup

The Warren Philharmonic Orchestra, led by music director-conductor Susan Davenny Wyner, will perform two concerts as part of its 2013-14 season.

The first concert, “Strange and Amazing Voyages,” will be at 3 p.m. Nov. 3. The family concert will feature guest accompanist Susan Hagen on double bass, as well as an instrumental “petting zoo” and a display of art by area students. The program will include Mozart’s “Haffner” Symphony and others.

The final concert will be “Spring in Paris!” at 3 p.m. April 27. It will include Gershwin’s “An American in Paris,” plus works by Ravel and Bizet, and soloists from the WPO’s “Strings of Joy” program.
