BREAKING NEWS: Mahoning commissioners approve new 3-year deal with sheriff's office employees
YOUNGSTOWN — The Mahoning County commissioners today approved a new three-year contract for members of Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 141 at the county sheriff’s office.
The agreement, which is retroactive to July 1, 2013, will expire June 30, 2016.
It provides no pay raise in the first year, and a wage reopener in the second and third years. The union already ratified the agreement.
The contract covers the gold unit, consisting of sergeants, lieutenants and captains; the blue unit for regular deputies; and a unit for civilian employees of the sheriff’s office.
