“The Legend of Sleepy Hollow,SDRq directed by Elizabeth Britton, Salem Community Theater youth theater, auditions 5 to 9 p.m. Monday and Tuesday. Youth actors in grade 6 through 12 are needed for several roles in the classic Halloween tale. Interested actors should come prepared with a monologue of their choice no longer than one minute. There will be scripts available to read if the actor has no monologue prepared. Callbacks, if necessary, will be Wednesday. Rehearsals will begin in late August. Performances will be on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from Oct. 25 through Nov. 3, with a student outreach performance planned for Oct. 30. Volunteer singers for the chorus of “La Boheme,SDRq Opera Western Reserve, all voices, ages and types are needed. Music and sound recording will be available.
