I-680 northbound ramp to U.S. Route 224 closed Thursday until mid-October

BOARDMAN — Beginning at 6 a.m. Thursday, the ramp from Interstate 680 northbound to U.S. Route 224 will be closed through mid-October for road construction, according to a press release from the Ohio Department of Transportation

The detour will be Western Reserve Road to South Avenue.

The work is part of a $5.4 million project to widen the Route 224 bridge over I-680 and improve the I-680/Route 224 interchange. The entire project is scheduled to be completed by late October 2014, according to ODOT.
