The Buhl Community Recreation Center of Sharon, Pa., is sponsoring the Henry and Catherine Evans Community Service award dinner Sept. 18 at the Avalon at Buhl Park, 1030 Forker Road.
The dinner will feature honorees, Gary, also known as Moe, Meszaros, and George, also known as Jig, Warren III, co-founders of Quaker Steak and Lube. The Henry and Catherine Evans award is the highest recognition the Buhl Community Recreation Center bestows upon leaders in the business community. It is presented annually to community leaders who portray the ideals of Henry and Catherine Evans to improve the quality of life in Pennsylvania and Ohio.
