Hungarian Club will celebrate Heritage Day

Youngstown American Hungarian Club’s 28th annual Hungarian Heritage Day will take place from 1 to 6 p.m. Sept. 8 at the clubhouse, 2219 Donald Ave.

The event will include authentic folk art, music and food, which will consist of Hungarian goulash, stuffed cabbage, stuffed peppers, chicken dinner, haluska, kolbasz and sauerkraut. Pastries will include crepes and dobos torta.

The boutique will be stocked with preserves, spices, noodles, clothing, books, cards and more.

The Hungarians Band from Cleveland will play American and Hungarian songs for dancing and listening.

Admission is $3 per person, and there will be ample parking with security.
