This commemorative event marks the 50th anniversary of the 1963 March on Washington and the speech by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. titled “I Have a Dream.” The celebration will last 63 minutes to commemorate the year in which the original event occurred. African American Male Wellness Walk – Warren/Youngstown

The African American Male Wellness Walk – Warren/Youngstown is a 5-mile event that targets, but is not exclusive to, African American men who represent area secular and religious organizations and/or institutions. This event is designed to encourage African American men to take charge of their health by bringing their families together in unity for health awareness, well being and prevention. “The people go to work every day, dreaming for the future, hoping for the best.” This will be an exhibit assembled from recent work, mainly from the South, with additional pieces from Kentucky and other Eastern region states.
