Victorian Players youth offer fractured fairy tale

The Victorian Players’ new youth theater will present its first production next weekend.
Victorian Ventures in Youth Theater will present “The Princess Who Had No Name” at 7:30 p.m. Friday, and 2 p.m. Saturday and Aug. 18.
The theater is at 702 Mahoning Ave.
“The Princess Who Had No Name” is a fractured fairy tale in which all of the familiar fairy tale characters cross paths.
It is set in a forest where a princess, who has lost her memory, is on a search for her true identity. In the process she encounters Hansel and Gretel, Rumpelstiltskin, Goldilocks, Snow White, The Seven Dwarfs, The Three Bears, Cinderella and Rapunzel, along with assorted princes, witches and fairy godmothers.
Adult actors augment the cast and work alongside the younger actors.
The cast includes Arianna Caffie, Teresa Evans, Allyson Frederick, Kory Frederick, C. Richard Haldi, Tom Hathhorn, Aundrea Heschmeyer, D’Ella Heschmeyer, Millie Heschmeyer, Sophie Heschmeyer, Chloe Housteau, Marisa Keshock, Sam Luptak Jr., Anthony Marsilio, Dillon McBee, Linda McGrath, Abigail Planey, Hannah Planey, Kara Planey, Regina Reynolds, Mike Shobel, Sarah Sobota, Jessica Stellars and Jerrica Walker.
The show is being directed by Marlene Menaldi Strollo.
