NORTH LIMA

The North Lima Business Shopping Complex is hosting its second annual Business Community Expo on Sept. 29 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. The complex is at 11836 South Avenue in North Lima at the former South Range High School.

The complex contains 32 local businesses, organizations, community groups, crafters and other vendors.

Project coordinator

Warren

The Mahoning Valley Economic Competitiveness Project has engaged Jessica Borza as its collaboration coordinator.

She will be responsible for developing a working group to undertake an initial project based on the recommendations of stakeholders from Trumbull, Mahoning and Columbiana counties.

Looking to lease

NEW CASTLE, PA.

The Lawrence County Economic Development Corp. wants to lease its 50,000-square-foot single or multiple-tenant building.

Construction will be completed in September. The building has 45,000 square feet of manufacturing space and 5,000 square feet of office space.

Modern Home marks 50 years

WARREN

Modern Home Kitchen and Bath, a locally owned and operated kitchen and bath remodeling company, is celebrating 50 years in business.

Modern Home Kitchen and Bath opened in 1963 in a small facility in Champion. The company spent the majority of its early years on Elm Road, until relocating to its facility at 1002 W. Market St. in downtown Warren.

Dinner reception

The Lawrence County Economic Development Corp. is having its annual dinner reception Sept. 17 at the New Castle Country Club.

The guest speaker is Dr. Irene Petrick, professor of Practice at Penn State University’s College of Information and Science Technology. She will talk about manufacturing in 3-D.

The meeting starts at noon at the Los Gallos restaurant on U.S. Route 224 near West Boulevard in Boardman.
