Ted and Stacey Thirion of Hubbard are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Victoria Thirion, and Gregory Helsel, both of Youngstown. The future groom’s parents are Greg and Terri Helsel of Hubbard.

Invitations will be extended for the 2 p.m. ceremony Sept. 14 at St. James Meeting House in Boardman Park and for the evening reception at the Mahoning Country Club in Girard.

The future bride attended Kent State University. She is a medical receptionist for Dr. Ravinder Nath in Boardman.

Her fiancé earned a degree in business finance from Youngstown State University. He is operations coordinator for FedEx in North Jackson.
