Hernandez outing will provide funds

LAKE MILTON

The Third Annual Hernandez Family Memorial Golf Outing will take place Aug. 24 at the Olde Dutch Mill Golf Course, 2745 Grandview Road.

The shotgun start is scheduled at 8 a.m. with check-in at 6:30 a.m. It will be a four-person scramble for men and women.

The cost is $70 per person or $280 per team. Teams will be created as needed.

The event will include 18 holes of golf with a cart, breakfast, lunch and dinner.

There will be cash prizes: $300 for first place team, $200 for second place, and $100 for two random draw teams. There also will be skill prizes on select holes and a 50-50 raffle and basket auction.

All proceeds will be donated to American Cancer Society, 525 N. Broad St., Canfield, in memory of Joe, Robbie, Tony and Michael Hernandez, who lost their battles with cancer.
