Police issue 'all clear' in YSU bomb threat

About 12 Youngstown State University employees arrived at work Friday morning to find a bomb threat in their email, said Ron Cole, university spokesman.

He said the YSU and city police as well as the FBI believed the threat to be “low level” and “not credible.”

“It was vague, which is one of the factor they look at in determining the credibility of a threat,” Cole said.

Police issued "all clear" and will continue to investigate to try to determine the origin of the email.

All operations continued without disruption,” Cole said.
