Vice officers serve three warrants

Police arrested several people as members of the vice squad served search warrants at three homes Wednesday.
At 4:55 p.m., police found small amounts of crack cocaine and heroin, along with several needles and $343 in cash at a 62 W. Dewey Ave. home on the South Side.
Arrested on charges of possession of drugs heroin and possession of drugs cocaine was Anetta Fields, 27. Dennis Grant, 32, was arrested on the charges of possession of drugs cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia. They are both from Youngstown. Cited for possession of drug instruments and possession of drug paraphernalia was Stacey Sullivan, 29, of Struthers; Chelsea Landis, 28, of Campbell; and Tara Stewart, 23, of Youngstown.
At 5:56 p.m., officers also served a warrant at 462 W. LaClede Ave., also on the South Side. At that home they found seven individual doses of heroin along with a bag of heroin, a bag of marijuana and $672 in cash. Arrested there were Thomas Johnson on a charge of possession of drugs, heroin; Roy Coney, 64, for the charge of possession of drugs heroin; and Lamar Coleman, 28, who was wanted on a warrant for failure to appear.
At 7:18 p.m. at 1711 Ohio Ave. on the North Side, police found three digital scales and a .22-caliber revolver. A 17-year-old there was issued a summons for possession of drug paraphernalia and released.
Those who were arrested are expected to be arraigned in municipal court today.
