3-vehicle crash in NW Ohio sends one to hospital
SANDUSKY, Ohio (AP) — The Ohio State Highway Patrol says a three-vehicle crash sent one man to the hospital while two others were treated at the scene in northwest Ohio.
A patrol release says the crash occurred on state Route 163 in Ottawa County around 8:30 today.
The patrol says the driver of a pickup truck stopped behind a vehicle waiting to turn left off the highway when a car behind the truck failed to stop. That car hit the truck and was struck from the rear by another car.
The driver of the car that hit the truck was taken to a hospital. His condition wasn’t immediately known.
The patrol says the other car’s driver was cited for failure to stop in an assured clear distance ahead and with driving under suspension.
