Part of Route 46 closing today for 2 weeks

NORTH LIMA

A stretch of state Route 46 between Cook and West Middletown roads in Beaver Township will close for 14 days starting today as a culvert is replaced.

The culvert is part of a $750,000 project to add turning lanes and a pedestrian tunnel to improve school-traffic safety in the South Range School District.

The Ohio Department of Transportation plans to have the work completed by late October.
