5th annual Mahoning County Senior Fair is Saturday

The Mahoning County Sheriff Office’s fifth annual Mahoning County Senior Fair is 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Emmanuel Community Church, 6512 Kirk Road.

The free event, for seniors from Mahoning County and the surrounding area, will have live music, bingo, entertainment, wood- carving and ballroom-dancing demonstrations.

The Casal Aveda Institute is offering free services, the Aut Mori Grotto clowns will entertain, and gift baskets will be given away.

There are exhibitors with information on services for seniors; first-responder emergency vehicles on display; and free medical screenings.

Western Reserve Transit Authority is offering free transportation starting at 10:30 a.m. Seniors can catch a bus in their neighborhood which will take them to the main terminal where a shuttle will transport them to the fair.

Senior fair sponsors are Crossroads Hospice Charitable Foundation, Anthem’s Well Point Foundation and Comfort Keepers.
