Emily Koebel, Matthew Novotny to be married

CANONSBURG, PA.

Emily Koebel and Matthew Novotny, both of Canonsburg, are engaged and planning a late-summer wedding.

The bride is a daughter of Debbie Koebel and William Keating of Fremont, Ohio, and the late Thomas Koebel. Parents of the future groom are Richard and Nancy Novotny of Youngstown.

The couple will wed during an open ceremony at 2 p.m. Sept. 7 at St. Christine Church in Youngstown. Invitations will be issued for an evening reception at Youngstown Country Club.

The bride-elect earned a bachelor’s degree in fine arts from Kent State University.

The prospective groom earned a degree in technical studies from Youngstown State University and is employed by Duke Energy in Pennsylvania.
