Akron woman cited for leaving accident near Midlothian
YOUNGSTOWN
Police cited an Akron woman about 2:10 a.m. Wednesday for leaving the scene of an accident and driving with a suspended license.
Officers were called to East Midlothian Boulevard on the South Side for a report of a woman bleeding from her forehead. When they arrived, they found Lisa C. Andrews, 23, being attended to by paramedics.
Reports said Wilson told paramedics she was assaulted on Hilton Avenue but when asked what happened, she refused to say anything else.
She told paramedics she got to her location after crashing her car, which fit the description of a car that was involved in a hit-and-run accident nearby. She was cited for failure to stop after an accident, driving under suspension and failure to control. She was taken to
St. Elizabeth Health Center to be treated for her injuries.
