Stretch of Route 46 in Beaver Township to close Thursday

NORTH LIMA — A stretch of State Route 46 between Cook and West Middletown roads in Beaver Township will close for 14 days starting Thursday morning as a culvert is replaced.

The culvert is part of a $750,000 project to add turning lanes and a pedestrian tunnel to improve school traffic safety. The Ohio Department of Transportation plans to have the work completed by late October.
