Shale coalition CEO is stepping down

After nearly four years of leading the Marcellus Shale Coalition, CEO Kathryn Klaber is stepping down from her position.
The organization is starting a nationwide search to identify its next leader. Klaber was selected to lead the newly formed organization at its inception in late 2009 and will assist in the transition for the coalition.

TCTC course offers software technology
CHAMPION
Trumbull Career & Technical Center’s Adult Training Center is offering a 720-hour software technology program for potential full-time students.
This course features hands-on use of the latest technology employed in the workplace. Included in the cost of the program are an iPad 2 and the QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Specialist Certification Exam Fees.
Classes start Sept. 3 and run Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Scholarship funds
KENT
Kent State University’s College of Business Administration announced that two endowed scholarship funds have been established by the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. in honor of its retired Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Charles J. Pilliod.
The Charles J. Pilliod Endowed Scholarships will be awarded each fall to two full-time students enrolled in the College of Business Administration at Kent State.
