Fundraiser set for Army veteran

A spaghetti dinner will take place at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Italian Fraternal Home, 33 W. Wilson Ave.

The fundraiser is for a U.S. Army veteran who has been fighting mantle cell lymphoma and is in need of a bone marrow transplant.

The dinner consists of homemade sauce with spaghetti and meatballs, salad, bread and dessert. There also will be a basket auction beginning at 5 p.m.

The band Zen-Archer will perform at 7 p.m. Refreshments will be available all day.
