Fundraiser scheduled for cancer society

AUSTINTOWN

Finish the Fight Festival, a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society, will be from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Aug. 24 at Austintown Township Park, 6000 Kirk Road.

The special guest at 11 a.m. will be ACS-funded researcher Dr. Gary K. Koski.

Join with others in the community to celebrate the lives being saved from cancer, to remember those lost and to join together to finish the fight against cancer.

The event will be a day of family fun including music, food, games, prizes, craft show, raffles, cornhole tournament, fire truck and Medivac helicopter demonstrations and more.
