Wellsville man dies in motorcycle collision near Lisbon

LISBON — The Ohio State Highway Patrol continues its investigation today into the death of a 25-year-old Wellsville man in a motorcycle accident Thursday.

Justin Knapp’s motorcycle ran into a car pulling out of a private driveway on Y&O Road in Madison Township just after 2:30 p.m., according to The Vindicator’s broadcast partner 21 WFMJ-TV.

According to a report from the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the motorcycle went down an embankment. Knapp was thrown from the motorcycle and died from injuries received in the crash. The car’s driver wasn’t injured.
