The Richiutti family marks 86th reunion

LAKE MILTON

The Richiutti family gathered July 4 at Lake Milton to celebrate the 86th reunion and to mark the 100th year that Palmi and Angela Richiutti came to America from Carovilli Campobasso, Italy, with three small children to settle in Campbell.

Seven more children were born later, but two suffered fatal accidents in childhood. Two daughters-in-law are still living: Eleanor (William) Rich of Boardman and Mary Nell (Dom) Rich of Corpus Christi, Texas.

The event began with a continental breakfast followed by Mass on the lake officiated by the Rev. Bernard Smalzried of St. Mary Church in Warren.

After a family prayer and recognition of graduates and July birthdays, milestone anniversaries were celebrated and a buffet lunch was served.
