Police hope shoes 'fit' suspected Pa. robber
ALTOONA, Pa. (AP) — Police in central Pennsylvania are hoping they can find the robber who fits a pair of shoes left behind after a woman was accosted and had $200 taken from her outside a bank.
Altoona police Lt. Jeffrey Pratt tells the Altoona Mirror, “We have his shoes” — a pair of pink Adidas.
Police say the suspect ran out of his shoes before hopping on a bicycle and peddling away after ripping a white bank envelope containing the cash out of the hands of a woman who had just left the Investment Savings Bank about noon Thursday.
Police say the suspect is white, in his late teens and was riding a black-and-neon-green-colored BMX-style bike.
