Suspect arrested for Loveland Road Murder

Police arrested 20-year-old Michael D. Brown of Youngstown in the aggravated murder of a Boardman man who was found shot in a Loveland Road driveway last week.

Daniel Watkins, 19, was found slumped over the steering wheel of his car the night of July 25 with several gunshot wounds to his chest. Watkins died on the way to the hospital shortly before midnight.

Witnesses said they saw a man running from the scene. Police said last week they had leads but no suspect.

Police said Brown did not resist arrest and was taken to the Mahoning County jail.
